My videos, which I call Snap Motion Re-Animations, are made from common and remarkably similar snapshots taken of time based-events like the sunset, the migration of birds, and the wax and wane of the moon. By collecting enough of images, I can place them in an order to re-invent or re-animate life.
The photographs that are included in each Snap Motion Re-Animation come from around the world and are taken by different photographers, mostly amateur. I collect them from friends, family, colleagues, acquaintances, strangers, image banks, photo exchanges, thrift stores, libraries, private collections, want adds, eBay and the public domain archives of the US Army, NOAA and NASA.
